Our Story

Our company was founded by Doug Strott, a native of St. Pete/Pinellas point area. Over the years, Doug has instilled his values of respect and fairness into every aspect of the business. Alongside his wife Jackie and their two sons, Alex and Vern, Doug has grown Doug's Hourly Muscle into a leading provider of residential and commercial moving services in Florida.

Our Services

At Doug's Hourly Muscle, we offer a wide range of moving and packing services designed to meet the unique needs of each customer. Our experienced team specializes in moving large and heavy items such as gun safes, pianos, antiques, golf carts, and lawn mowers. We also provide packing services, including the use of ten wardrobe boxes on moving day and free shrink wrapping of items.

We understand that every move is different, which is why we offer on-time pickup and delivery, special handling for fragile items, and a commitment to keeping your dresser drawers full of clothing items. Our low-profile cargo trailers ensure efficient loading and unloading, and we never use steep narrow ramps or slow lift gates.
