Our Story
Rick Kalem, founder of Rex Custom Cabinets, has a passion for designing and building custom cabinets. Growing up, Rick learned the art of fine cabinetry from his uncle, Rex, who emigrated from Greece and worked alongside his relative, Steve, at a small cabinet shop in 1960. Despite being ridiculed for being an immigrant, Rex worked hard and learned the trade, becoming one of the best in the business. Rick brings over 50 years of design and cabinetry experience to the table, ensuring that each client receives superior quality and value.
