Our Commitment to Excellence

Our founder, Matt Bailey, brings decades of landscape experience to every project. Matt's journey began in his native Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he cultivated his passion for landscaping while working on a sod farm. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for his expertise, which he further developed through an associate's degree in Forestry and Wildlife. He is a certified ski and snowboard instructor, illustrating his commitment to excellence and lifelong learning. Matt's dedication to knowledge extends to his various certifications in Wisconsin as a tree inspector and arborist.

His desire to build a sustainable future within the mountains led him to Grand County as a part-time resident in 1997. During this time, he continued to pursue his love of landscaping, working in Wisconsin before ultimately making the move permanent in 2004. Matt joined the Winter Park grounds team, engrossed in studying the unique flora and adapting landscaping techniques to the region's challenging climate. With his extensive experience and knowledge, Matt founded Alpine Landscape Service L.L.C. in 2005, driven by a vision to provide top-tier landscape construction and service to the community.
