Commercial Construction

As your commercial general contractor, we work with your architect and design team to bring your project from concept to completion. Our comprehensive services include pre-construction services, value engineering, and construction expertise. We have successfully completed projects for clients such as East Idaho Credit Union, Idaho State District 7 Health office, US Forest Service, Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and Blackbird Mine. Our portfolio includes new commercial construction, renovations, additions, and steel buildings.

Steel Buildings

We are a supplier/installer of complete steel buildings, serving a variety of industries, including local ranches and the Idaho Transportation Department. Our steel buildings are designed to meet the unique needs of our clients, offering flexibility and durability.

Concrete and Specialty Solutions

As a specialty concrete contractor, we offer a range of services, including site concrete work, driveways, sidewalks, curb and gutter, retaining walls, area paving, and miscellaneous concrete structures. We also provide concrete and steel bridges for clients such as the US Forest Service, private sector, local ranches, and the Idaho Transportation Department.

About Us

Wellard Constructors was founded in 1947 by Jay Wellard. Jay began his career in construction at a young age, working for his father. After graduation from Salmon High School in 1977, he traveled with two-world large industrial construction companies, returning to Salmon in 1990 to partner with his father. Thirty years later, Wellard Constructors has completed numerous major projects in the Salmon Lemhi County, Custer County area.

BUILDBLOCK ICF'S

We are proud to be a BUILDBLOCK ICF Dealer and Installer. BUILDBLOCK Insulating Concrete Forms (ICFs) are hollow foam blocks that are stacked into the shape of the exterior and load-bearing walls of a home, reinforced with steel rebar, and then filled with concrete. BUILDBLOCK ICF benefits include superior insulation, energy efficiency, quiet construction, and flexibility to create unique architectural features.
