Our History

Our journey began in 1970 when C. Maurice Thorne and Cecil Williams formed Yu-Al Inc., offering Raynor garage doors and Genie operators. In 1971, we partnered with the Overhead Door Corporation to become the exclusive distributor of their products in Southwest Florida. Over the years, we have continued to grow and evolve, with key milestones including the establishment of our Naples branch in 1978 and the purchase of 100% of the Overhead Door Company of Ft. Myers in 1982.
