Our story began when founders Ray and Austin Nelson of the Nelson Lumber Company opened the Nelson Homes division with a vision to provide Americans with a comprehensive modular home building service that focused on modern designs, innovative manufacturing methods, and cost-effective delivery practices. Our History and Milestones

Our journey began in 1958, when our founders, Ray and Austin Nelson, opened the Nelson Homes division. Since then, we have made significant strides in the modular home industry. Over the years, we have manufactured more than 45,000 modular homes across North America and have delivered packages to other countries, including the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Ireland, Russia, Greenland, Japan, and China. Our product range includes residential home plans, ranging from 600 square feet to 4750 square feet, as well as multi-unit and commercial plans.
