Inkstone Architecture's approach is deeply rooted in its founder John R. Paoli AIA's extensive experience. Paoli's architectural journey began at Montana State University, where he gained a solid foundation in the principles of design. He further honed his skills during a 12-year stint in New York City, working with both small and large firms, mastering the intricacies of architecture and adaptive building reuse. In 1990, Paoli established his own practice in Westport, Connecticut, focusing on commercial and residential projects, before returning to his home state of Montana in 1995.
