Our History

Vermont Cabinetry, Incorporated has been a fixture in the Chicago and surrounding metropolitan area since 1976. Beginning as a small two-man operation in Blue Island, Illinois, we served local builders with cabinet and countertop solutions for their remodeling and new construction projects. In 1983, we embarked on a new era, driven by advancements in technology and computer-aided design. This shift revolutionized our approach to cabinet crafting, allowing us to achieve unprecedented levels of precision and artistry. The small Blue Island shop blossomed into a 20,000 square foot facility, complete with a 2,000 square foot showroom, and a dedicated team of skilled craftsmen joined our ranks. From that point forward, every cabinet design has been meticulously crafted on computer software, working hand-in-hand with the client's vision to bring their dream kitchen, bath, or other space to life.

Long before it became commonplace, Vermont Cabinetry embraced the idea of personalized consultations. Customers began coming to our showroom to meet with our experienced designers, interior designers, architects, project managers, and tradesmen, embarking on a collaborative journey to bring their unique design ideas to fruition.
