Our Team

R.L. Friend Construction, Inc. is proud to be managed by the husband-and-wife team of Lydia and Robert Friend. As the majority shareholder and CEO, Lydia Friend oversees all administrative business activities, including new accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, contract execution, and all financial transactions. She also develops and implements business strategies in regards to marketing, advertisements, and company/client relationships, and manages all administrative staff and management employees. Together with the COO, she develops, implements, and manages the company's annual budgets and reviews financial performance, providing finance guidance and recommendations to the board of directors at annual and bi-annual meetings.

As the minority shareholder and COO, Robert Friend oversees and manages all field operations for contract execution and is responsible for the management of all field staff. He organizes and implements strategies for contract execution involving labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, etc. Together with the CEO, he develops, implements, and manages the company's annual budgets and reviews financial performance, providing operational guidance and recommendations to the board of directors at annual and bi-annual meetings.
