Our team is composed of real people who share a passion for delivering exceptional service. Brian, our founder, is a Durango native who loves hiking, snowboarding, prospecting, bee-keeping, off-roading, and working on his property. He brings his attention to detail and relentless work ethic to every job, and he works tirelessly to make his customers happy.

Kelly Spitzer, Brian's wife, is a real estate professional who supports Brian behind the scenes. She shares Brian's love for the outdoors, and she can be found hiking, snowboarding, prospecting, and bee-keeping right beside him.

Geothermal Ground Source Heat Pumps

Geothermal ground source heat pumps use the earth's natural heat to provide your home with heating, cooling, and hot water. By using the earth's constant ground temperature instead of highly variable air temperature, geothermal ground source heat pumps heat 50-70% more efficiently than other heating systems and cool 20-40% more efficiently. We are proud to be a certified installer with the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, serving Durango and SW Colorado.

At Renew Heating & Homes, we are big fans of Fujitsu's high-efficiency heat pumps.
