Our company, MAP of Easton, Inc., is dedicated to providing innovative acoustical and thermal solutions for the world. Since our establishment in 1974, we have been at the forefront of developing cutting-edge products and services that cater to various industries, including automotive, architectural, and beyond.

Our History and Growth

Our journey began with the production of large diameter pipe fitting insulators, and over the years, we have expanded our product lines to include PVC pipe jacketing and molded fiberglass in flat or contoured designs. As our business grew, we moved to Allentown, PA, where our product lines in the automotive and architectural markets took off. This necessitated additional factory expansions to West Easton, PA, and Michigan. By the end of the decade, we introduced encapsulated insulators for enhanced customer handling.

In the following years, we continued to expand our capabilities and services. We designed and built a 116,000 square foot facility to accommodate an "In Line Flow" manufacturing process, which significantly improved our efficiency through ease of material handling and production output. We also introduced water jet cutting to enhance accuracy. Furthermore, we initiated plans to erect and produce a rotary fiberglass line in West Virginia.

Our Services

While we continue to specialize in molding fiberglass into any shape or form, we recognized the need for a "Full Service Provider." To address this, we introduced a complete CNC machining shop offering engineering support and design capabilities. Our R&D department was expanded to provide world-class customer service and better promote the acoustical and thermal insulation markets.

Over the years, we have continued to grow and innovate. We opened a 50,000 square foot facility in Clarksdale, MS, where we service architectural customers and diversified our shipping locations. Five years later, we moved to a nearby 160,000 square foot facility to increase our overall manufacturing capacity in the Southeast United States. TS Certifications allowed us to satisfy all customers, big and small.

We offer a wide range of solutions, such as engine compartment, underbody, and muffler treatments for the automotive industry; office panels, walls, and ceilings for the architectural market; and encapsulated insulators for enhanced customer handling. We also provide innovative lab testing services and sewing resources to support our customers' needs.
