Our family-owned and operated business is built on a foundation of quality, integrity, and community involvement.

Our Story

Superior Flooring was founded by George "Bill" Day in 1968 in Wilmington, Ohio, shortly after his return from the Vietnam War and a brief tenure teaching at West Point. Bill ran and operated Superior Carpet and Captain Steamer for more than 30 years, while his son Brad Day worked alongside him and learned the industry. In 2005, Superior Carpet was renamed Superior Flooring to accommodate all flooring types. In 2009, Brad Day took over as Owner and Operator, bringing over 35 years of experience in running commercial and residential projects. Throughout the years, we have managed to weather economic hardships due to our commitment to serving a great community and having amazing customers.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of experienced professionals dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction. Brad Day, our Owner and Operator, has over 35 years of experience in the Flooring Industry and is passionate about exceeding your expectations. Sue Martens, our Flooring Consultant and Customer Service Export, has been with us for over 15 years and knows everything about our products and services. She also provides consulting and interior design advice. Jennifer Day, our Office Manager, helps manage day-to-day operations and also offers consultation services and interior design advice. Zack Day, our Flooring Installation Consultant & Specialist, has over 10 years of experience in installation and flooring consultation, helping customers determine the best flooring options for their needs.
