GeoMasters Heating and Cooling is a third-generation, family-owned business that has been proudly serving the Thumb area since 1967. We started as "Gardner Plumbing & Heating" and have evolved over the years to become experts in geothermal heat pump systems. Our commitment to providing high-quality service and competitive rates has earned us a reputation for honesty and reliability.

Our story began in 1946 with Mr. Francis Gardner, who opened his shop at our current location. In 1967, our grandparents, Bob and Bea Norman, purchased the business and continued its growth. We were one of the first in Michigan to install a closed-loop geothermal system in 1980. Since then, we have successfully installed hundreds of geothermal systems in the area.

Today, our team, including our father, Mark Cummings, and his sons, Joel Cummings and Joseph Flint, continue to build on the family legacy. We are dedicated to staying committed to our values of honest customer service, quality maintenance, and adopting the latest energy-efficient technology.

Our services and products range from new installations and replacements to maintenance and repairs. We offer geothermal heat pump systems, radiant in-floor heating, snow melt systems, dehumidification, heating and air conditioning systems, hot water heaters, and plumbing services. We also provide energy efficiency and economical tips to our customers.
