Our Story

At Diamond Lawn Service, we take pride in our rich history and commitment to excellence. Our journey began in 1953 when Jerry Sullivan opened his garden center in Troy, Michigan. The business flourished, and in 1955, the coal company owned by Jerry's father ceased operations. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in the company's history. Brother Dan joined the business in 1956, and together, they expanded the garden center's offerings. In 1972, the company ventured into lawn services, and ten years later, the landscape division was established.

In 1977, the next generation joined the family business, with Dan, Mark, and Katie Sullivan taking the reins. The company continued to grow, with new locations opening in Dallas/Fort Worth in 1983 and Detroit in 1986. Today, Diamond Lawn Service serves Michigan's Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne counties, providing top-notch lawn care and landscaping services to residents.
