Since 1990, Mike McBride and Pat Comfort have owned and operated Trees Inc., a wholesale B&B (balled and burlapped) tree farm in Teton Valley, Idaho. Situated at an elevation of above 6,000 ft. (Zone 3), the cool high altitude climate provides the perfect conditions for growing cold hardy plant material, very suitable for the Rocky Mountain regions of Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado. With over 200 acres of trees and shrubs and over 20 years of experience, Mike and Pat take great pride in growing high-quality plant material, with meticulous detail given to packaging their B&B product, ensuring healthy longevity for delivery and installation.

Our History

Mike McBride, President of Trees Inc., was born and raised in Evergreen, Colorado, and moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming in the late 1970s to pursue his passion for skiing and the mountain life. Pat Comfort, Vice-President of Trees Inc., was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and continued his education at Oregon State University to study horticulture. Mike and Pat met at the Jackson Hole Ski Area working together on the race crew and both had the same vision of starting a tree farm and landscape business to offset the winter season.

Trees Inc. is unique in the green industry for our diversity in farming trees and shrubs, along with operating a full-scale landscape company, equipped to handle any size job. Our services range from installing trees and shrubs, irrigation systems, flowers and sod to extensive experience in hardscapes, pond installations, and excavation work. The Farm

Over 20 years after starting Trees Inc., Michael and Pat now operate their tree farm on over 200 acres in Teton Valley, Idaho. The wholesale B&B (balled and burlapped) tree farm sits at an altitude above 6,000 feet and is perfect for growing hardy deciduous trees. You can find a variety of tree and shrub species at the farm, including Blue Spruce, Aspen, Cottonwood, Pine, and much more. Trees Inc. provides meticulous detail when packaging our materials, ensuring healthy longevity for delivery and installation.

Landscaping Services

In addition to operating a tree farm in Teton Valley, Idaho, Trees Inc. also runs a full-scale landscaping company based out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Landscape services range from installing trees and shrubs, irrigation systems, flowers and sod to extensive experience in hardscapes, pond installations, and excavation work.
