Merrick Lentz Architect is a full-service architectural and planning firm that has been serving the business and residential community since 1985. Our Team

Rick Lentz, the owner and founder of Merrick Lentz Architect, has over 50 years of experience in architecture and planning. A graduate of Washington State University, Rick established the firm in 1985 and has developed an extensive, varied portfolio of projects.

Craig Cheney, a senior architect at MLA, has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington and has been with the firm for over 30 years. Craig has proficiency across many different building program types and has developed skills in all project phases.

Jason Beagle, an architect at MLA, has over 15 years of experience on residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and restaurant projects. He has managed projects with various construction methods, including steel, concrete, masonry, heavy timber, and light frame.

Recent Projects

We have had the privilege of working on some impressive projects, including the Mission of Hope, a men's shelter in Salem, Oregon; the Kirkland Community Center in Kirkland, Washington; and the Hope Place in Seattle, Washington.
