Gentner Excavating, LLC is a family-owned and operated company proudly serving the Thumb of Michigan and surrounding areas. Established in 1986 by Raymond Gentner, the company has since grown to become a leading provider of excavating services. In 1994, Raymond was joined by his son, Martin Gentner, and together they have built the company into what it is today.

We are an all-around excavating company specializing in bulldozing, ditching, pond digging, driveway installation, trucking, site preparation, field tile installation and repair, septic systems, and custom snow removal. With over 30 years of combined experience, Gentner Excavating, LLC has the knowledge and equipment necessary to complete all of your excavating needs.

Our company is currently run by Raymond and Martin Gentner, along with several crews of qualified employees. We employ as many workers as necessary to complete jobs timely and efficiently. Raymond or Martin always maintain a presence on the jobsite, even with multiple jobs running. We believe this is a truly unique aspect of our company.
