Our History

Arrow Pest Control has a rich history that stretches back to 1967 when Marion Bowen, a passionate entrepreneur, established the company's first office in Prattville, Alabama. Since then, Arrow has experienced remarkable growth, becoming one of the largest and most trusted pest control providers in Central Alabama. Serving the thriving communities of Prattville, Millbrook, Montgomery, and surrounding areas, Arrow Pest Control has built a solid reputation based on its commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and unwavering dedication to the industry.

Our success has been built on the foundation of family. In 1981, Marion's son, Terry Bowen, joined the business, bringing his extensive knowledge and expertise to the company. The father-son duo, together possessing over 70 years of experience in the pest control industry, steered Arrow Pest Control through periods of expansion and innovation, solidifying its position as a leader in the field.

Over the years, Arrow Pest Control has embraced a philosophy of continuous improvement, constantly upgrading its procedures and technologies to ensure the highest level of service for its clients. One notable milestone was Arrow's early adoption of the Sentricon bait system for termite control, becoming one of the first companies in the nation to implement this revolutionary method. In fact, Arrow played a pivotal role in the development of the Sentricon system, serving as a test company and an advisory group member for Dow Chemical Company.

Expanding into a true family business, Terry's sons, Greg and Paul, joined the ranks, representing the third generation of Bowens dedicated to serving the community through Arrow Pest Control
