For over 90 years, Syverson Tile & Stone has been dedicated to providing the highest quality tile and stone products to the construction industry. Our company was founded in 1932 by Ray G. Syverson Sr. and Ruth Syverson in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Ray Sr. was a tile installer by trade who decided to form his crew to keep up with demand. His wife Ruth had an accounting and management background. Together, they built the business into the largest tile contractor between Minneapolis and Omaha by the 1950s.
Today, Syverson Tile & Stone is a wholesale provider of tile and stone for builders, remodelers, and designers. We take great pride in offering a wide variety of tile products, including glass, metals, ceramic, and natural stone in many colors and patterns. Our product line also features counter fabrication of natural and man-made stone, including granite, quartz, marble, and slate.

Our History
In the early years, Ray Sr. would walk onto job sites and offer his tile installation services to drum up business. By the mid-1940s, the company had grown to become the largest tile contractor between Minneapolis and Omaha. Ray Jr. became president in 1976, and in 2004, the company changed its name from Syverson Tile to Syverson Tile & Stone.
Today, Syverson Tile & Stone has evolved into one of the largest tile distributors in the region. With locations in Fargo, North Dakota; Rapid City, South Dakota; and Billings, Montana, we proudly serve the construction industry in the following ways:
