Mark Marchetti Arborist/Gardener is a landscape design and construction firm based out of New Hartford, CT. With a focus on creating and caring for exceptional landscapes, we offer a wide range of services to meet all of your outdoor needs.

Our History

In 1992, I turned my life-long interests in horticulture, masonry, and carpentry into my business. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of creating hundreds of beautiful outdoor environments, and I look forward to many more years of this rewarding work. I am a licensed arborist, pesticide applicator, and home improvement contractor, and I continue to pursue additional education in garden design, horticulture, and construction techniques.

Our Services

Designs and projects range from simple foundation gardens to large-scale landscape construction. Many involve site work, drainage, elaborate masonry, fencing, arbors, porches, and fine gardens. My practical approach to landscape design considers client preferences, architecture, views, privacy, shade, noise, access, maintenance, and snow removal. I recommend only species of plants that will thrive in your site and soil conditions. Relationships with many specialty growers allow me to provide the finest quality, size, and variety of plants.

Gardens

We offer design, installation, and care of fine gardens and foundation plantings. Our expertise includes perennial, foliage, and Japanese-style gardens. We also provide large size deciduous trees, evergreens, exotics, and shrubs.

Masonry

Our masonry services include walls of stone and pre-cast block, granite stairs and porches, paver walks, patios, and driveways. We work with natural stone, wall blocks, bricks, and pavers to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces.

Carpentry

Our carpentry services include fences, arbors, pergolas, and more. We can help you create the perfect outdoor living space with our custom carpentry solutions.

Site Work

We offer excavator, loader/backhoe, bobcat, and dozer services. Our site work services include drainage, grading, and excavation to ensure your outdoor space is functional and beautiful.

Landscape Maintenance

We provide lawn care, pruning, mulching, snow removal, and more to keep your outdoor space looking its best year-round.
