Our Story
Mountain Locksmith was opened in January 2019 in Woodland Park, and later moved to Colorado Springs in July of 2019. Our owner, Carl Huitt, has over 25 years of experience as a locksmith business owner. With a double BA in Biology and Fine Art from Grinnell College and the University of Guelph, Carl has a unique perspective on the locksmithing industry. His introduction to locksmithing was working for a lock supply wholesaler in Phoenix, Arizona, and then working for locksmith companies in New Orleans and Naples, Florida. He started his own company, "A BEACH LOCKSMITH" in Bonita Springs, Florida, and did full-service locksmithing for twenty-five years.

Key Issues and Disappointments
