Our History
Our story began in 1946 when Leo H. Vergnani founded Hampden Fence & Iron Works in his garage. Initially, the company focused on erecting chain link fences, but soon expanded to manufacturing fence fittings. Over the years, we have continued to grow and evolve, adding new products and facilities to meet the changing needs of our customers. Today, we are proud to be a family-owned business, dedicated to providing exceptional service and products to the fence industry.

Additionally, our greenhouse fittings are designed to make greenhouses portable for organic growing. Moreover, our hot dip galvanizing facility is equipped to handle small parts for steel parts fabricators, mainly for the construction industry.
