Our History

DSM Excavating was founded in 1992 by Dave Arnt with his sons Scott and Mike. Over the years, we have continued to grow and expand our team, our equipment fleet, and our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Today, we are proud to be a leading excavation company in the region, working year-round on both residential and commercial sites.

Our services include excavation, demolition, hauling, grading, drain tile, sewer & water, erosion control, clearing & grubbing, boulder walls, driveway tear-outs, additions, ponds, pool excavation, and soil correction. We also deliver sand, rock, topsoil, driveway base, and import & export fill. Our fleet of dump trucks is equipped to handle any size project, and we are proud to offer year-round excavating services, including ripping frost, to ensure that our clients' projects are completed on time.
