Our company's story began with a local locksmith shop established in 1947 and an electronics distribution company founded in 1933. In 1982, the two entities merged under Larry Votaw's guidance, forming the core of Larry's Lock & Safe Service, Inc. & Lakeland Electronics. Driven by a commitment to excellence, the company expanded its service offerings and reputation, becoming a trusted name for security solutions of all types. Today, under the leadership of Larry's son, Mike Votaw, a graduate of Trine University's schools of engineering and business, we continue to build upon this legacy of excellence.
