Welcome to PLACE! design + planning, a planning, design, and land use consultancy based in Boise, Idaho. Established in 2006, our company has become a leader in innovative and fresh ideas for site development, residential infill, commercial and home remodeling, and urban design in one of the fastest-growing regions of the United States.

What Is Place?

At PLACE!, we believe that creating a sense of place is at the heart of what we do. We define "place" as a term used to describe a location that is identified with what is located there. A place can be as macroscopic as a city or as specific as a spot on a shelf. We also recognize the concept of "sense of place, " a phenomenon in human society where people strongly identify with a particular geographical area or location.

We believe that an architect's contribution to a building extends far beyond form and aesthetics. Meet Our Team

At PLACE!, we have a staff of experienced professionals who collaborate to provide innovative and fresh solutions to our clients' needs. Our principals, Evelyn Grime and Zandra King, are both licensed architects with a Master's degree from the University of Idaho. We also have other staff members with expertise in various design and planning disciplines.
