With a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Major in Real Estate from Louisiana State University, Duane has a unique understanding of the construction industry, from land acquisition to final completion.

Duane's passion for building innovative and unique homes began at a young age, and his inspiration was sparked by his father's construction company. By the time he was 17, he was supervising the construction of his first custom home, an Acadian-style residence featuring wrap-around porches, elevated on brick piers with French doors, hardwood floors, and a metal roof. This project marked the beginning of his journey to create homes that are not only beautiful but also functional and sustainable.

Throughout his career, Duane has been driven by a commitment to forming strong relationships with his customers, and to building trust through open communication. He personally involves himself in every stage of the building process, from selecting the perfect building site to overseeing construction from start to finish. Duane's dedication to his clients is reflected in the numerous awards and accolades his company has received, including the 2017 SRQ Home of the Year award for Best Overall Home in the $1 to $2 million category.
