Our Mission and History
At McVea Insulation, we take pride in being a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Midwest region for over 90 years. Our journey began in 1936 when Turner Carlisle, Kris's great-great-uncle, opened the first fiberglass insulation company in Omaha, Nebraska. The business was later passed down to Kris's grandfather, Ken McVea, who relocated the company to 5016 Woolworth Avenue. Kris's father, Dave McVea, took over the company in 1991, and Kris grew up in the insulation business, learning from his father and accumulating extensive knowledge and expertise in the field.
