Our Story
Chris Baley and Steve Kurtz, co-founders and best friends, met in high school and continued their bond over outdoor adventures and indoor escapades while attending college. As acquaintances in the Raleigh computer industry, they discovered a shared passion for solving problems and taking risks, which ultimately led them to establish CS Tree Services. With their diverse backgrounds in IT, arboriculture, and entrepreneurship, they ventured into the tree care industry with a vision to provide top-notch services, quality, and safety to their customers.
Our Crew
Our team consists of highly skilled professionals, including:
- Chris "The Trigger" (Co-Founder/Co-Owner): With over 14 years of experience, Chris is dedicated to ensuring the successful execution of projects, from tree removal to stump grinding. In his free time, he enjoys various hobbies like painting and sculpting, as well as snowboarding and 4-wheeling.
- Steve "The Colonel" (Co-Founder/Co-Owner): With a proactive approach to business development, Steve oversees sales, logistics, and client relationships. Apart from his professional endeavors, Steve enjoys his family and exploring new adventures.
