Jacques Architecture is an international architectural design studio offering services in architecture, urban design, master planning, and interiors. With over thirty years of design experience, Robert brings a wealth of creativity, knowledge, and wisdom to every project. Our culture thrives on collaboration. We generate ideas quickly and efficiently, actively seeking input from fellow collaborators, consultants, and of course, the Client. We believe that the built environment profoundly affects the quality of life; therefore, we strive to make unique, user-centric buildings that impart a sense of place. We focus on cost-conscious, environmentally sensitive, contextually appropriate, and sustainable projects.

Select Projects

throughout the years, we have had the privilege to work on a diverse range of projects, including:

• San Fernando Valley Multi-Family Residential: A 6-story multi-family residential concept located in the San Fernando Valley, comprising five floors of condominiums over retail and garage space.
• Hollywood Mixed Use: A mixed-use design concept in the heart of Hollywood, featuring live-work units, parking levels, and a dramatic curved surface acting as an axial terminus.
• The Citadel: A mixed-use master plan for a 750,000 SF site in the City of Commerce, including office, R&D, hotel, factory outlet/food court, and the renovation of an existing tower. This project received multiple design awards and publications.
• Green River College Mixed Use: A 4-story, 80,000 SF mixed-use building in Kent, Washington, featuring retail at the ground floor, Green River Community College on the second and third floors, and lease office space on the fourth floor.
• Private Residence, Newport Beach: A custom 4,500 SF home in Newport Beach, California, featuring a curving natural stone wall that organizes and defines exterior and interior spaces.
• Union Rescue Mission: A 700-bed shelter, learning and recovery facility for the homeless in Los Angeles, California.

Locations

Although we are located in Humboldt County, California, our projects have taken us to various parts of the world, including Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Donguan, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Zuhai, Wuhan, Tembisa, Mexico City, Cancun, California, Idaho, Oregon, Washington D.C., Washington State, Korea, Philippines, and Jakarta.
