Katia Velasquez, our principal designer, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every project. With a degree in architecture from Mexico, years of experience designing and marketing new products for a worldwide irrigation company, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by California's diverse climate and topography, Katia is able to create stunning landscapes that are tailored to each client's needs and lifestyle.

Our Projects

*Soquel Mountains, CA*: The client requested a resort-like retreat with their personal touch. We created a custom wooden deck that was originally integrated to the pool concrete deck and separated by a focal point water feature. The result was a stunning outdoor space that was perfect for special events.

*El Granada, CA*: The client wanted a funky and fun garden to go with their 1920's house. We incorporated art Deco Italian tile from a salvage store for the outside shower mixed with the ruggedness of the railroad ties to create a charming and unique garden.

*Hollister, CA*: The client wanted a Santa Barbara style garden to go with their California mission style home. We had to be very careful in the selection and position of plants in order to provide plans that could survive the central coast weather and still give the Santa Barbara feel.

*Prunedale, CA*: The main request from this customer was outdoor living and entertaining with the formality of an English garden. We created white trellises to provide the boundary effect and define the garden.

*San Mateo, CA*: The client requested a quiet and serene space so they could relax on the weekends. We created a custom water feature to attenuate all the city noise and designed a custom iron and wood door to separate the service patio from the main garden.
