At SauderBuilt, we pride ourselves on building homes with integrity and excellence. For over 30 years, we've been constructing custom homes in the Fort Wayne area, focusing on quality over quantity. Our mission is to provide clients with a custom home of the highest quality using a proven, reliable, and efficient building process.

Our History

SauderBuilt was founded by Mark Sauder in 1978. Born and raised in Grabill, Indiana, Mark continues to reside in the area. The Sauder family has been an established name in the Grabill community since 1830. We've maintained an unblemished financial record with all suppliers and subcontractors and hold an A+ rating with the BBB of Northern Indiana.

Our Philosophy

We strive to provide a package to our customers that includes the best possible design, workmanship, personal attention, and value. Our goal is to construct a small number of custom projects to the highest standards rather than to be the largest builder in the area. By focusing on a few projects at a time, we're able to give each project the attention it needs and consistently achieve superior results.

Key Employees

Mark Sauder, our founder, studied civil engineering for two years at Purdue University before founding SauderBuilt. He has 36 years of experience in nearly every construction trade. Craig Sauder, our project manager, earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from Indiana University in 2006 and is Mark's son, looking forward to taking ownership of the company in the future.

We offer a range of services including Residential New Home Construction, Custom Homes, Light Commercial Construction, and Remodeling. Our projects consist of a mix of new construction custom homes, remodeling jobs, and light commercial work within a 60-mile radius of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
