Our Story

Santa Theresa Tile Works was founded in 1986 with a passion for creating beautiful, handcrafted tiles that reflect the vibrant spirit of the Sonoran Desert. Our mission is to bring joy and inspiration to people through our unique tile designs, while also supporting a noble cause. As a certified social enterprise, we are committed to donating all proceeds to Imago Dei Middle School, a free private school for low-income children in Tucson.

Our Artists and Staff

Our team of skilled artists and craftspeople come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their unique talents and expertise to the table. From seasoned ceramicists to talented painters, our staff is dedicated to creating exceptional tile pieces that delight and inspire. Meet our talented team members:

• Bob De Armond, a ceramicist with 50 years of experience, who designs custom orders and creates exquisite tile pieces.
• Erinn Kennedy, a talented painter and mosaic artist, who creates stunning awards and commemorative pieces for local businesses.
• Carrie Bejarano, a retired biology teacher turned flower maker extraordinaire, who crafts beautiful flowers and creatures for our tile designs.
• Maddie Cajero, a volunteer turned employee, who assists with every step of our tile-making process.
• Holly, our Director, who oversees the daily operations of our studio.
