At Studio Three Architects, we are a full-service architectural firm located in the heart of Wilmington, North Carolina. Our team of talented individuals is dedicated to providing innovative, cost-effective, and buildable design solutions that meet the needs and budgets of our clients. As a NC HUB-certified female-owned business and SBA-certified small business, we take pride in our ability to transform existing sites and building elements into functional and beautiful spaces.

Our Team

Our firm is led by two talented architects, Brian Hollars and Kelli Jordan, who share over 55 years of combined experience in the design and construction industry. Brian brings over 25 years of experience in building design and problem-solving, while Kelli has practiced architecture for over 30 years, with a passion for creating comfortable, inspiring spaces for people.

Education Projects

Our education projects include Ivy Tech Community College's Henry County Campus, Ivy Tech Community College Culinary School, and Cape Fear Community College's Veterans' Lounge and Student Lounge. We have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, functional spaces that meet the needs of students and faculty alike.

Re-Purposed and Saved Buildings

We believe that saving and re-purposing existing buildings is a key component of urban renewal. Our portfolio includes projects such as the Lofts at Leeson's, a 1934 Art Deco department store converted into affordable senior apartments, the Sinclair Service Station to Apartment, a former 1920s service station converted into a living space, and the 20th Century Flats, a four-unit apartment building restored to its original condition.

Food and Beverage

We take pride in our work with upstart brewers and restaurant owners, including projects such as Guardian Brewing Company and Paul's OKI. Our expertise in food and beverage design has resulted in functional, efficient spaces that meet the needs of our clients and their customers.

Multi-Family Housing

Our multi-family housing projects include low-income housing, market-rate housing, and USDA renovations. Our team has a proven track record of delivering high-quality, functional spaces that meet the needs of residents and property owners alike.
