Our Process

At Quality Refinishing & Restoration, LLC, we believe that preparation is key to a successful refinishing project. We take the time to prepare each surface carefully, using a 2-step cleaning process and high-quality industrial cleaners to ensure a clean, PH-neutral surface that is ideal for refinishing. We take care to protect your home during the refinishing process, using masking film, rosin paper, drop cloths, and other protective materials to ensure that your fixtures and surfaces are not damaged.

Once the surface is prepared, we apply a wipe-on primer or bonding agent to help chemically adhere the new surface to the existing one. We then use a high-volume, low-pressure spray system to apply the base coat primer and acrylic urethane topcoat, ensuring a smooth, even finish. For multi-spec surfaces, we apply a clearcoat acrylic topcoat to ensure a durable, long-lasting finish.

For bathtubs and showers, we take the time to detail the surface after it has had time to cure, ensuring a shine and luster that rivals a new tub. We then remove the protective masking and leave the room cleaner than we found it, ensuring your satisfaction with our work.
