RMT Architects, PC, was founded in May 1996 in Vail, Colorado, by a group of enthusiastic and diverse architects who met while working in the Resort and Luxury Home industry. The firm's history began with the design of the first home in Bachelor Gulch, which was featured on Home and Garden Television (HGTV). Our team is proud of their talented and energetic staff of architects and designers. Harvey Robertson is the Managing Partner, overseeing the day-to-day operations and project management. Chad Salter, Partner in charge of design, brings expertise in green technologies, communication technologies, and the management of accuracy and completeness of the end product. Each partner is an active community member, involved in activities such as coaching youth athletic teams, donating to the public school system, and participating with local charities. Our commitment to clients is to provide sophisticated design tools and project documentation systems, utilizing Sketchup, AutoCAD, and cloud-based project files for easy access.

Our Process

We believe in working closely with our clients, offering variations in our fee structures to provide only the services required. We offer site consultations, master planning, conceptual site design, individual building design, and interior design support. For larger developments, we integrate all elements into a unified design concept, ensuring structural, mechanical/electrical, and interior fixed finishes are coordinated. Our team's unique personalities and skill sets bring a distinct approach to each project, aiming to meet functional and financial goals while reinforcing community quality and value.
