At Jandreau's Tree Service, we're proud to be a family-owned business that has been serving the community for over three generations. Our story began in the woods of Maine, where our founder, Herman, started his logging career. After moving to Connecticut at the age of 21, Herman brought his expertise and knowledge to the state. It wasn't until his son Peter decided to take the business to the next level that Jandreau's Tree Service was officially established in 1987. Today, we're known for our unique purple trucks and exceptional service.
We offer a wide range of services including tree removal, trimming, pruning, cabling, stump grinding, top soil application, and grass seeding. Our team is equipped with the latest equipment, such as dump trucks, bucket trucks, wood chippers, and a stump grinder, ensuring that we can handle projects of any size. From large commercial properties to residential homes, we've worked with clients like CL&P, the City of Meriden, and even educational institutions like Choate Rosemary Hall.
Our Services
Tree Removal: We handle any type of tree removal project, from land-clearing to single trees, for both commercial and residential properties. We take care to minimize lawn damage and always do a thorough cleanup after the job.
Trimming & Pruning: We recommend trimming and pruning every 5 years or as needed. The best time is late winter/early spring.
Cabling and Bracing: We use cables and bracing rods to protect or improve the structural integrity of mature and older trees.
Stump Grinding: It's advisable to have stumps removed due to their unattractiveness, tripping hazard, and potential to cause new tree growth. We do this right after tree removal.
Top Soil and Grass Seeding: We provide top soil delivery, application, and seeding for any property, especially after stump removal to prevent soil depletion.
