Disappointing Experience with Shea Homes
The reviews below highlight a series of negative experiences with Shea Homes, particularly with their sales team and construction quality.
Unprofessional Sales Team
Two customers, Sabrina Nowling and Andrew Smith, had issues with Shea Homes' sales team. Sabrina's experience was marred by a lost questionnaire, which led to Shea Homes refusing to work with her Realtor. Andrew's experience was filled with delays, rescheduling, and poor communication from the sales team. Both customers expressed dissatisfaction with the sales agents and the sales manager.
Poor Construction Quality and Unreliable Subcontractors
Andrew's review highlights numerous issues with the construction quality of his home, including delamination of floor tiles, messy grout jobs, and scratches and leaks on shower glass. He also experienced issues with subcontractors, such as rescheduling, no-shows, and theft of tools. Andrew felt that Shea Homes was unable to control their subcontractors or ensure quality work.
Good Experience with Sales
In contrast, Lance Gorder's review highlights a positive experience with Terry, a sales representative at Shea Homes. He found Terry to be helpful and patient, and was glad he chose to work with Shea Homes. Lance even praised the company, stating they are the best in the valley.
