History

In 1971, Wayne Brown joined his father James and brother Doug, who were running a successful home building company. Over the years, the Brown family has been committed to building a company that is known for its integrity, quality, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Today, Brown Builders is one of the largest general contractors in the State of Louisiana and has been recognized for construction excellence and received prestigious awards. We have been recognized as the North American Butler Volume Builder of the Year in 2014 and most recently by the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce as their small business of 2024.
