Our journey began in 1992, when Debi Davis opened her interior design firm in Little Rock, Arkansas. With a background in fashion and a keen eye for detail, Debi brought a unique perspective to the world of interior design. Over the years, our team has grown to include a diverse group of designers, each with their own strengths and specialties. Together, we work collaboratively to bring our clients' visions to life.
Our Story
Debi Davis' journey into interior design was not a traditional one. With a degree in broadcast journalism, Debi's path took a unexpected turn when she purchased a high-end fashion boutique in Little Rock. It was during this time that she refined her sense of style and aesthetic, which would later influence her approach to interior design. After selling her boutique, Debi honed her decorating skills by working for a prominent interior designer, where she learned about antiques, design, scale, and color.
In 1992, Debi opened Debi Davis Interior Design, and the rest, as they say, is history. Today, our team is comprised of talented designers, each with their own unique strengths and specialties. Our team includes Jo Butts, a designer and Debi's mom, who brings her own unique perspective to each project. Eric Penny, our production manager, oversees the production of custom furniture and ensures that every piece is crafted to perfection. Lloyd Cobb, our Certified Public Accountant, takes care of project budgeting and accounting, allowing our designers to focus on what they do best. And, of course, our furry friends, Cody and Bailey, serve as our Chief Fabric Officer and Chief Flooring Officer, respectively.
