At James Pozzetta, Architect, we are a full-service design firm based in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Our team is led by James Pozzetta, a State of Florida Licensed Architect and LEED Accredited Professional. James has a Bachelor's Degree in Design and a Master's Degree of Architecture from the University of Florida. He has also studied architecture abroad in Italy at the Vicenza Institute of Architecture, where he developed a passion for historic architecture and learned the complexities of combining historically sensitive design work with practical applications of modern materials and uses.

James has extensive experience in the industry, having worked for firms such as Beer, Stauffer and Associates and serving on Architectural Review Boards for Pirate's Cove, Ocean Ridge, and Beach Haven. He is dedicated to understanding the needs of his clients and the local context, creating authentic designs that are inspired by the local culture and include memorable detailing.

Our recent design projects showcase our commitment to creating unique and welcoming spaces. For example, the Amelia Park Residence is a traditional Charleston Side Yard design that addresses unique challenges presented by the size of the lot and view corridors. The Atlantic Beach Country Club Model Home features ornate detailing required by the design guidelines, with multiple style options presented to create significantly different exterior aesthetics based on the same floor plan. The Paradise Key Residence is a custom design that was originally intended to be a model home design for a developer but was ultimately sold to a private homeowner and fine-tuned to their personal tastes.

Consulting Services

In addition to our design services, we also offer consulting services, including ARB/HOA Consultation and Design Consultation.
