Yamada and Sons, Inc. is a family-owned business with a rich history dating back to 1925. Founded by Robert "Bob" Mitsugi Yamada, the company started as a one-man operation hauling goods along the Hamakua Coast. Over the years, it evolved into a successful hauling business, and eventually, into a contracting firm. Today, we are a licensed General Engineering contractor serving the Big Island since 1959. We specialize in excavation, grading, and hot mix asphalt paving, having completed projects of all sizes from residential driveways to public highways construction.
