Our fleet of trucks and equipment can deliver your supplies directly to your door or roof. We're committed to keeping prices low by engaging in timely buying of materials and partnering with vendors and dealers to pass the cost savings on to you.

Our History

Our story began with Colonel Himes, who brought automated logging to the Crandon area in the early 20th century. After a fire at the Crandon mill in the 1930s, he rebuilt and started several lumber yards in the region. In 1954, Roy and Mildred Almen, Arney Peterson, and Peter Riegert purchased the Himes Company and formed Builders Service, Inc. Today, under the ownership of Rod and Nilah Visser and their sons Todd and Dave, we continue to grow and develop the business.
