Our founder, Geoff Okarma, started his journey in the construction industry as a carpenter, project engineer, and project manager for several prominent construction firms in Sacramento and the greater Bay Area. Over the years, he managed numerous high-profile projects for successful local construction companies, including public works jobs in school districts and municipal buildings, as well as private sector work in hotels, hospitals, office buildings, and retail centers.

In 2009, Geoff founded Geoff Okarma Construction, Inc. with the goal of providing top-quality construction services that prioritize the environment and reduce waste, energy consumption, and pollution. Since then, we have been dedicated to incorporating green building practices into every project we undertake. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Geoff has successfully completed two large projects that were LEED certified by the United States Green Building Council.
