We work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is designed and built to meet the client's needs while staying on schedule and on budget.

Our construction services include project management, self-performance, and quality control. Our team of experienced project managers, superintendents, and craftworkers ensure that the project is built to the highest quality standards while staying on schedule and on budget. We self-perform a significant portion of our work, including concrete, carpentry, and millwork, which allows us to control the schedule, quality, and cost of the project.

At AP, we are committed to innovation and continuous improvement. We use the latest construction technologies, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), virtual design and construction (VDC), and lean construction techniques, to improve efficiency, quality, and safety on our projects.

History

AP was founded in 1946 by George Adolfson and Gordon Peterson in Richfield, Minnesota. The firm began doing commercial construction and opened a new office in Richfield. In 1950, commercial jobs began to outnumber residential, and in 1953, the partnership was incorporated. In 1979, Gordon Peterson sold to George Adolfson, and in 1980, the Colorado office opened. In 1991, the Arizona office opened, and in 1998, the second and third generation took over the company. In 2000, the Texas office opened, and in 2006, AP reached 2 million man hours without a lost time accident and achieved ENR top 100 ranking. In 2015, AP was named Contractor of the Year by ENR. Today, AP continues to be an industry leader and dependable construction partner.
