E.C. Barton & Company, a leading provider of home improvement solutions, has a rich history dating back to 1885. Our journey began at a grocery store in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where P.C. Barton initially stacked a load of lumber for his new home. As customers started purchasing the lumber, the item was added as a sideline to the grocery store. Over time, Barton eventually sold the grocery store and incorporated his new business in 1902.

Today, we are a full-service lumber division operating in Arkansas and Southeast Missouri. Our stores carry everything homeowners and professionals need to build or remodel - from the lumber to the shingles and everything in between. Our team is dedicated to providing expert advice and excellent customer service to help our customers achieve their dream spaces.

Our History
