Salt River Materials Group (SRMG) is a leading supplier of cement, aggregates, and fly ash products in the southern United States. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, SRMG is a unique company with a rich history that dates back to 1959. With over 60 years of experience, SRMG has evolved from a regional supplier to a major player in the construction industry.

Our History

Our story began in 1959 when American Cement Corporation constructed a plant in Clarkdale, Arizona. Initially, the plant was intended to supply low-heat cement for the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam. However, as the project progressed, the company realized the potential for growth in Arizona and decided to continue operations. Over the years, ownership has changed hands several times, including stints with Amcord and Gifford-Hill. In 1987, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community purchased the company, marking the beginning of a new era.
