About Our Lead Gardener

Our lead gardener, with a lifetime passion for nature and horticulture, has a wealth of experience and knowledge in creating beautiful and sustainable gardens. With a background in social service and paralegal work, our lead gardener decided to pursue a career in horticulture about 15 years ago. They studied at the University of Washington and Edmonds Community College, graduating with honors in Landscape Design.

Through internships at prestigious institutions such as the Bellevue Botanical Garden, Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania, and The Miller Botanical Garden, our lead gardener gained valuable hands-on experience and learned from skilled and experienced gardeners. This experience has shaped their approach to design and practice, focusing on connecting clients with their gardens and promoting a sense of harmony with nature.
