Our Founder: Jeremiah Joscelyn

Jeremiah Joscelyn, President and Founder of Josco Bay Homes, has been a student of carpentry and construction technology since the age of 14. His passion for quality craftsmanship and fine carpentry was ignited during his apprenticeship with a master carpenter and craftsman. Over the years, Jeremiah honed his skills in home building, cabinetry, finish carpentry, and woodworking. As a journeyman carpenter, Jeremiah's exceptional work ethic and attention to detail earned him a reputation as a trusted provider of interior trim, cabinetry, and custom-built furniture in luxury homes along the beaches of South Walton and Bay counties.

As his clientele grew, Jeremiah expanded his scope of work to include docks, patio decks, kitchen remodels, whimsical bunkbeds, and a number of other custom projects and specialties. His warm and caring personality, combined with his strong sense of integrity, made him a natural fit for his new focus. Under Jeremiah's leadership, Josco Bay Homes has become the premier provider of quality workmanship in the Florida panhandle.

Jeremiah's achievements include becoming a Master Carpenter, obtaining OSHA certificates for operational safety, earning job supervision and project management certifications, curating a network of craftsmen and niche specialists, and representing the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in teaching Construction Technology in partnership with the Home Builders Institute (HBI). Currently, Jeremiah is earning his Florida Certified Building Contractors license while partnering with some of the most well-respected building contractors in the Northwest Florida region.

Born and raised along the Emerald Coast, Jeremiah is an avid saltwater angler, outdoors enthusiast, and devoted family man. He and his wife reside in North Walton county near DeFuniak Springs, where he is also active in ministry outreach and volunteer work. His passion for quality and integrity has made him a reliable partner for his clients, and Josco Bay Homes a uniquely Floridian organization committed to developing this wonderful piece of paradise and enhancing its beauty - building better dreams one client at a time.
