Our Story

In 2006, our founder, Steve Johnson, launched LightWave Solar with a vision to provide high-quality solar installations and solar O&M services. Steve worked closely with the TVA and the State of Tennessee to create their first solar programs. Since then, our team has grown and evolved to become a leading provider of solar solutions.

Chris Koczaja serves as our President and CEO, bringing over 20 years of engineering and management experience to the role. Steve Johnson, our founder and partner, is a NABCEP-certified solar professional with many years of experience in the industry.
