In the Beginning, Initially opening Church Ladies Furniture Consignment in 2008, Jane and Annette wanted to help bring life into the historic downtown Duluth area while also providing a unique shopping experience. The two friends began by accepting gently used furniture and furnishings, and splitting proceeds 50-50 with the sellers. Couches, tables, lamps, chairs, dining-room sets, and many other home decor pieces filled the shop. Church Ladies was on track to revitalize historic downtown Duluth by offering a unique one-stop shopping experience that local residents deeply desired.
Who We Are Today
Since our initial opening in 2008, in quaint historic downtown Duluth, Georgia, Church Ladies Furniture Consignment strives to be one of the most well-recongized consignment stores in Gwinnett County. From furniture, florals, to art and more, Church Ladies is truly a "treasure hunt" shop. Due to historic downtown Duluth's renovation, we have since moved our shop to Buford Highway, and we are happy to remain a part of Duluth's history. We are convenient to Norcross, Suwanee, Johns Creek, Buford, Sugar Hill, Lawrenceville, and Alpharetta. We're happy to say we're becoming known to the movie set industry, and have seen many of our treasures on the big screen. We love promoting upcycling, recycling, and repurposing. Many of our consignors and buyers would describe this as the perfect place to "be out with the old and in with the new!"
What to Expect
When first entering Church Ladies, one of the two owners, Jackie or Connie, will gladly assist you. Connie owned Nature's Elegance, a custom floral design services, for over 30 years, and is now retired from the biz. Jackie was an active residential interior designer for 20+ years and was voted Best of Gwinnett 2010. Together, they now offer interior re-design services. That's right, you get the both of them to make your home as beautiful as their shop! Come shop, sit a spell, chat, and add a touch of Church Ladies to your home. Looking forward to meeting you!
